You know you’re at a great wedding when the groom smashes cake in the bride’s face at the cake cutting and thinks he’s gotten away with it, then he gets picked up by one of the groomsmen so the bride can have an unobstructed and very grand retaliation cake smash in the face. This moment sums up the incredibly fun wedding of Chelsea and Darren last month at Craven Farm. The wedding was about an hour north of Seattle in Snohomish, WA. It was one of the hottest days of the year but that didn’t stop anyone from having an amazing time. It was a perfect day, from the bbq, lawn games, and ice cream sammies to the cornfields and Cascade mountains in the background. Truth be told these two are just full to the brim with joy and playfulness and now after meeting their families and friends I can see where they get it from. It was so nice to be around that kind of energy. It came out in the ceremony, speeches, the first dances, and even our portraits. 100% candid and silly and so very heartfelt. With their faith, love, humor, and passion for service I am so happy that they found each other – what an incredible match.
