I’m in the midst of a staycation and one of the first items on the list was to go to Olympic National Park to spend a little time in the rainforest!  It’s the wettest spot in the US (besides Kauai)!  Peak rainfall really hits around this time of year so how utterly surprised and delighted I was to arrive (on a very rainy day in the PacNW) only to be greeted by parting clouds and sunshine.  The whole day was fabulous and I can’t wait to share more.  For now, a sneak peek at the one of the trails we took in the Lake Quinault area.  If you look closely you can see all the tiny little droplets of water sparkling off the trees.
