Lake Washington is the second largest natural lake in the State of Washington. At its longest, it stretches 22 miles. In the summertime, you can find Seattleites swimming in it, lounging near it, watching the Blue Angels fly over it, and most especially spending sunny days on their boats in it.
The folks over at Como opened their restaurant over at Carillon Point in Kirkland with all that goodness in mind when they paired their new waterfront patio-drenched eatery with their very own classic boat. Brilliant with a capital B.
We had a great time photographing their opening party, items from their gorgeous Italian-inspired menu, portraits of staff, and of course an excursion on the lake in their beautiful boat. My camera delighted in every moment. Between the wine, melon and mozzarella salad, pizza, pasta room, stunning bar, and thoughtfully designed decor, I was a kid in an Italian coastal dream but right here in my own backyard.
