Sometimes you get lucky with a client, and working with Megan Swartz Gellert, founder of Slice PR and Events, was exactly that. She’s such a gem, and I loved helping her shape this next phase of her career through a Slice PR brand strategy project that brought together storytelling, content planning, and photography.
We began by looking closely at the foundation of her business and identifying the pieces that set her apart from the competition. From there, I guided and streamlined the elements of her brand to make it easier for her to connect with the right audience.
As part of the Slice PR brand strategy, we refined her brand story, tagline, and mission. We also worked on her voice and tone, defined her value proposition, and mapped out her brand promise and creative direction. Finally, I developed a content plan to organize her messaging and imagery so everything felt thoughtful and consistent.
To bring the strategy to life, I created a set of photography guidelines that aligned with her brand story and content plan. From there, we shot several batches of lifestyle images at Jackson Street Studio and around Pioneer Square. These sessions built a brand image library Megan could use across her website, social media, and marketing materials. Photographing her with her clients and capturing portraits that reflected her personality and passion gave the visuals a natural connection to the overall strategy.
This Slice PR brand strategy project brought together strategy, content, and photography in a way that reflects Megan’s creativity and professionalism. It was a privilege to help her shape the next chapter of her brand.
