What do you do when you are putting together a brand video, and you need to showcase a warm summer evening gathering? That’s right. You plan it and host it yourself. As if I need an excuse to get people together for a little bubbly and cake. I’m so grateful for the awesome ladies that came over for a night of laughs, funfetti cake, and rosé. They also agreed to be in my stills and video. That’s friendship. The evening was all part of an overall effort to bring my newly updated Daniellemotif brand to life. 

We were graced with a break in the crazy summer fires we had been experiencing in the Seattle area at the time. Hours before the wind changed direction and gave us a chance to get outside and enjoy a beautiful dusk moment. It was a fun opportunity for me to break out some of my thrifted mix and match plates and barware as well as some stemware gems my pal Nicole (and party guest) found at an estate sale. I got a beautiful bouquet from Terra Bella Flowers in Greenwood and got the fab funfetti cake and snack box from the brilliant folks at Preserve and Gather. For me, gatherings are at the core of what life is all about. Coming together over food and drink for conversation and good times is an amazing thing. We’ve been doing it since our earliest days. My brand really celebrates the everyday moments and the joy of being together. It was the perfect way to bring that all together visually.
