Kimber Elements Brand Shoot | Jewelry with Impact

This image shows two individuals standing in a field of tall grass. The person on the left is wearing a white dress and a necklace, while the person on the right is wearing a black shirt, white pants, and a white hat. Both individuals appear to be posing for a photograph. The background features dense green foliage and trees, suggesting a natural, outdoor setting. The sky is clear and blue, indicating fair weather.

Lifestyle, Photography

In 2020, a year that felt uncertain and heavy, I found myself more grateful than ever for collaborations rooted in optimism. This brand shoot with kimber elements was exactly that. They’re on a mission to amplify Indigenous women to conserve and protect wildlife through sustainable business and educational opportunities. Photographing their work was a reminder of the good that can grow even in challenging times.

The Shoot

We set out to create a branded imagery library that reflected the heart of kimber elements, jewelry that is not only beautiful, but purposeful. The shoot blended lifestyle photography with product storytelling, showing their pieces in ways that felt natural, wearable, and connected to the people behind them.

About kimber elements

Kimber elements is a Seattle-based jewelry design shop who has partnered with Indigenous women in Kenya to co-design and produce a line of fair trade jewelry to provide economic independence, business skills and scholarships to young women who are interested in studying wildlife conservation. Every piece carries a story of collaboration, empowerment, and impact.

I am so thankful to have spent time photographing for a brand whose values shine through in every detail. Here’s to the people and companies creating beauty while making a positive impact in the world. Work like this kept me grounded in a year that tested us all.
