"If you're looking for a photographer who can capture your spirit in the most beautiful candid way, Danielle is your girl! She has a unique eye in the way she photographs, people, spaces, landscapes, objects, everyday moments, special occasions... really anything. Danielle's images have helped build my new home interior decorating business and visually tell my brand's story. She's a great collaborator... she listened to my needs and vision and executed beyond my expectations. I'd be happy to hire her again."

- Lelia Tran

"I met Danielle through local Seattle creative group and had her shoot for my budding new business and am so thrilled with how they turned out! She was incredibly professional, thoughtful, thorough, and made me feel like I had a new BFF right from the start. Since I'm a designer, I have a specific vision for projects. I was slightly fearful that what I hoping for wouldn't come to life, but I'm happy to say that Danielle achieved my vision and more."

- Alexandra Collins

"This woman is sunshine. I hired Danielle to shoot some professional photos for me -- ones I could use for my website, LinkedIn, short bios, you name it. The shoot was super fun and Danielle has that marvelous ability to put you at ease almost instantly. She believes in letting your natural personality shine. In short: she makes you look like the best version of yourself."

- Alexa Shoen

"From the moment I met Danielle she greeted me with a big hug! She really took the time to get my vision by creating mood board and then researching some great spots to take my head shots at. We joked and laughed the whole time. Danielle made me feel comfortable and made me look more glamorous than I feel on the inside. She was such a sweet spirit. She's the kinda person I'd love to hang out with every day! Personality aside, she takes great pics, which duh...is obviously what we're here for!"

Do you offer mini sessions?

At present time I am not offering mini-sessions. For me, getting to be able to invest time with each person I’m photographing is an essential part of the process. This allows me to achieve the authenticity I strive to bring forth.

What should I wear?

Once we start planning our session I'll send through a moodboard and some inspiration and tips to get you rolling. I generally work with Stacy London's style mantra: "It doesn't have to match, it just has to go!" And pro tip - neutrals make everyone look their best in any environment (and yes, denim & chambray count as neutrals. Hey yo!)

What if we get “bad” weather?

There’s always an element of unpredictability when it comes to weather for an outdoor session (especially in the Pacific Northwest) but depending on what it's doing, we might get even more amazing shots out of it if you're willing to have a little adventure. I realize this isn't always possible so if it’s looking like we need it, we'll plan a backup indoor location.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancellations happen, but don't worry, there are a few things we can do. I will be as flexible as I can be in this process. By signing the agreement, we are both committing to keeping the date & time agreed upon, so while the retainer is non-refundable, there is the option to reschedule the shoot. If I'm unable to perform your shoot due to unforeseen reasons, I'll work to reschedule with you, if that isn't possible I'll refund your retainer and I'll work to get you referrals to other photographers in the area. Further details on the retainer and cancellations will be in your agreement.

Should I get my hair & makeup done?

I approach portraiture authentically so that when you see your photo, it reflects you at your best. Sometimes hair and makeup can really help bring forth that little extra bit of confidence that you might be looking for. By all means, do what feels right for you! My recommendation would be to keep it as natural as you can so the images remain reflective of what you look like.

I hate having my photos taken. Any tips?

I completely and wholeheartedly know the feeling. I’ll be sending you a handy tip sheet along with your wardrobe inspo to get you thinking of fun ways to approach the shoot, but just remember at the end of the day, try and have a little fun with this! You can use it as an opportunity to give yourself a little high five. And don’t worry, I’ll help bring out your natural smiles and best self. We’ve got this.
