Don’t forget to trim your wicks, y’all! Trim the wick to less than ¼ inch before every single burn to keep things clean and minimize black smoke or residue. If you don't have a wick trimmer, just use a small piece of paper towel or scrap paper to clean up the top of your wick before you burn. Easy peasy.

Burn time also makes a difference. For your first light, let it go for 1–2 hours (or until the melt pool reaches all the way across the top) to avoid tunneling. After that, try to keep each burn under 2 hours. Add a soundtrack to your scent and never leave a candle burning unattended. Now you're ready to enjoy the glow.

Q. Can I send a gift? 

Yes! For now, there are a couple of options. Excited to expand this offering in the future too!

1. You can purchase items for someone else and add a message at checkout. I’ll include it on the thank-you card inside their order. Just be sure to fill in your friend's info in the shipping section. Note, I can currently only ship to one address per order.

Q. How should I care for my candle?

Each candle is hand-poured in small batches, either by me or in partnership with the crew at Makesy. All materials are part of their made better™ collection, which means everything is beautifully crafted and made without the yucky stuff you don’t want.

Depending on the scent, I use either a coco apricot soy or hemp coconut soy wax, both chosen for their smooth burn and beautiful scent throw.  Every candle features biodegradable cotton wicks, phthalate- and paraben-free fragrances, and recyclable glass vessels, all chosen with care for quality

Q. How are your candles made?

Because each item is made in small batches and produced to order, all sales are final. If something arrives damaged, please email support@daniellemotif.com with a photo of the issue, and I’ll do my best to make it right.

Q. What is your return policy?

Candles are packed with care and shipped within 5 business days of purchase. Domestic shipping on up to 6 candles is a flat rate of $9. Additional shipping will be added for orders with more than 6 candles.

Prints are printed and fulfilled separately by Parabo Press and ship at a flat rate of $10. It takes about 5 business days for order processing & printing, then orders ship via standard delivery and should land on your doorstep within 9 to 12 business days.

If you order both candles and prints, they’ll arrive in separate packages and include separate shipping charges. Please note, 
at this time, shipping is available within the U.S. only. Tracking information will be provided for both shipments once your order is on its way.

Each candle release is made in small batches, poured with care by either myself or in partnership with the team at Makesy. Candles are available only while supplies last. Because quantities are limited, restocks are not guaranteed. If something speaks to you, it’s best to grab it while it’s here.
