You know when you go into the animal shelter expecting one thing to happen and suddenly something completely different happens and you walk out of there with a long-haired kitten who apparently used to belong to a hoarder?  Yeah, that happened to me too.  Meet Simba.  The latest addition to my little posse. He’s 11 months old, a chatterbox, and a cuddle bug.  The transition with Meeko my other cat has been slow and steady but we’re at 3 weeks in now and no one has drawn blood or peed anywhere they’re not supposed to.  In fact, I’ve even caught some play chases.  I think he’s going to fit into our family nicely.
