The Greece Travels playlist is an hour-long escape meant to transport you. Whether you have stood beneath the Aegean sun or simply dreamed about it, these songs are an invitation to slow down, put your vacation hat on, and unwind. They trace the feeling of a perfect Greek day, from the lively streets of Athens to quiet moments by the sea on one of the islands. If I could rewind my visits and bring you along, this is the soundscape we’d have with us.

It begins with Nana Mouskouri, a nod to tradition and nostalgia that instantly sets the tone. From there, two personal favorites from my travels. I always had these two tracks in my headphones, Rufus Wainwright’s “Greek Song” and Fleet Foxes’ “Mykonos”. Next, the journey shifts to modern Greece with artists like APON, Klavdia, and Michalis Koumbios, each adding fresh rhythm and texture.

As the playlist unfolds, the mood turns oh so chill. Tracks like “Too Late” by Washed Out and “Into the Woods” by Tycho feel like you’re floating in clear water with the sun on your skin. Finally we get into an ultimate state of relaxation with tracks like “Memories” by Tamsui and “Keep On” by Amaraldo. They encourage you to take it slow, and take a few deep breaths.

This mix is made for beach mornings, exploring, poolside afternoons, or simply dreaming of the sea from wherever you are. Press play, let the sunlight in, and drift away to Greece with me.
