When I got a photo inquiry that included the sentence, “One of the reasons I wanted to book through you was I saw you had some cat pictures on your homepage,” well, I knew this was going to be a momentous family session.

I met Vanessa and her awesome family through a couple of mutual friends as they were all going to be in Seattle over Thanksgiving to celebrate the holiday together and they wanted to do some family photos together. They rented a very cool house in the Madrona neighborhood. The rain held off, and our autumn session was full of cute moments of Vanessa’s little son Christopher as he played with his grandparents, climbed atop the gargoyles protecting the house, and hanging out with his cousin, cat, Cleopawtra. You can’t beat time with family, and when there’s a willing and photogenic cat in the mix during the family portraits, you know I’m in. More pics coming to this post soon!
