So this documentation thing is is kind of addicting.  I’m having a great time with it though so the experimentation continues.  Again, with my 50mm at 1.4.  I suppose the more I test the more comfortable I’ll feel with every option.  Today I played with some different backgrounds for the same subject (coffee beans!) and then also tested out some liquid shots (yipes! harder than it appears, especially when you’re pouring AND shooting).  I featured beans from a local roasting company (Caffe Vita) and had to use one of my favorites, Anthropologie’s monogram mug.  I will say, the coffee tasted even better than usual as I stopped to appreciate and savor each step in the prep process.
