New York can be an intimidating and overwhelming place. For someone like me who needs a lot of wide open spaces and fresh air the city can sometimes push in on me. Thankfully, I’m also a wanderer and that takes over when I’m there. This past week I stumbled upon Petite Shell, a delicious pastry and coffee shop on the upper east side. I was delighted by the airy quality of the space and the design sensibility hugging each wall and fixture. The kind staff and smell of warm chocolate croissants & coffee didn’t hurt either.
